Cascadia has been supplying the Pacific Northwest with fresh, organic mushrooms since 2005. After years in the game, they came to us ready for a website redesign to show off a more polished and professional look. While most of their products were going to farmers markets, local restaurants, and grocery stores, they also wanted to boost online sales of their mushroom growing kits and establish themselves in the ecommerce world.
We set Cascadia up with a new WordPress website, with a brand new look and complete online shop. High-quality product photos, a beautiful and easy-to-navigate mega menu, and printable recipes were necessary features to help customers find what they were looking for. We also added complete instructions for their mushroom growing kits to help streamline the process of answering customer queries.
After the website overhaul, we established an email marketing system, an Instagram strategy, and content marketing to increase their keyword rankings.

Since the new site launch, Cascadia has consistently made 4x their revenue over the previous year. Their conversion rate, which was less than 2% on the old site, now hovers between 6 and 8%. The website has seen increased traffic and they’re ranking on the first page of Google for several of their mushroom kits as well as gourmet mushroom information.
